Clear Lake Trowel & Trellis Garden Club of Lakeport would like to thank the Lake County News staff for publishing the many articles that we have submitted to you. We were always pleased with the manner in which you edited each article and with the timeliness in which they were published.

Each year we enter the California Garden Clubs Inc. award for “Publicity.” The award is judged on the best coverage of the club's activities during the award’s year.

A brief cover containing newspaper releases is submitted. Our club won first prize in the Pacific Region Award in 2008, and we will again apply for this award in 2009.
