CLEARLAKE, Calif. – Michael Trent Moore, 73, of Clearlake, Calif., died Friday, May 18, 2012, at St. Helena Hospital.

Michael was born on Jan. 9, 1939, in Indianapolis, Ind., to Wilbur Wilton Moore and Loretta Strait.

Michael was a video tech for more than 20 years in Los Angeles before moving to Lake County. He and his wife Joan Moore enjoyed their Videos 4 U rental business where he made many of his lifelong friends.

His favorite hobbies in life were weightlifting, gardening, jewelry making and reading. He was a great thinker, and could travel in conversation with anyone. His favorite topic was politics.

He is survived by his wife of 16 years, Joan Moore; sisters, Mary Williams of Cedar Rapids, Iowa,  Melody Price of Zionsville, Ind., and Diana Messmer of Indianapolis, Ind.; and brother James Moore of Indiana.

He had two children, Michael Moore of Apex, North Carolina, and Rebecca Cadler of Anaheim Hills, Calif; and four grandchildren.

Services are private.

He will be truly missed by his family and friends.
