Frawnna Thurman
Oct. 15, 1960 to Feb. 27, 2023

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. — Our beloved Frawnna was born in Lakeport and after graduating Clear Lake High she made her home in Lakeport.

Frawnna was as kind as she was beautiful, most of her life was spent helping others.

She was a foster mother to more than 75 children.

She created Rescue Safari and rehomed more than 200 cats and dogs from our local shelters.

An artist at heart, she loved to sing, paint, even weld.

Frawnna was a licensed hypnotherapist.

She will be deeply missed by her family: parents, Elizabeth and Donald Kaneshige of Lakeport and Larry Slaybaugh of Sacramento; sister, Sabrina Bounsall; niece Zena Bounsall and nephew, Logan Bounsall of Calistoga; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial is planned for late spring.
