Phil Liberto

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. — Phil died tragically on May 19, 2023. He was 57 years old. A life cut too short, with so much more living to do.

Phil was a goofball at heart. He loved music, his friends and playing with his grandkids, even though they wore him out.

Phil had a talent for turning things into works of art. From custom paint on vehicles, to custom paint on a guitar and everything in between. He took pride in his work and it showed in the result. There wasn’t anything he couldn’t fix.

The only thing Phil loved more than his ‘59 El Camino was his daughter Annalyssa — he was so proud of her.

Phil leaves behind his daughter, Annalyssa Shipley, and son-in law, Jerry; grandkids, Bella and Roman Shipley; sisters, Debbi Liberto and Gina Barnes; his girlfriend, Jessica Rehder; a nephew and nieces; and so many people left broken-hearted, too many to name in this space, that will forever hold a special place in their hearts for their friend.

Join us in “gettin’ ice” in Phil’s honor to celebrate his life on Saturday, June 10, at 4 p.m. at Marc Rivas’ home, 3129 Scotts Valley Road in Lakeport.
