May 31 comedy night benefits Operation Tango Mike

FINLEY – Bay Area favorite and national headliner Mark Pitta will headline a night of standup comedy to benefit Operation Tango Mike, Lake County’s all-volunteer military support group.

The show will be held Saturday, May 31, at 8 p.m. at Big Valley Grange, 1510 Big Valley Road in Finley. Doors open at 7 p.m.

Pitta, a former KTVU morning news personality and comedy veteran, has been seen on Comedy Central and the Tonight Show. This marks his first appearance in Lake County.

Joining Pitta will be three other comedians, including Dave Bothun, a Marine Corps veteran and member of the touring group, The Jarheads of Comedy. Aspiring comedian Craig Hulsey, a student at Kelseyville High School, will appear as a special guest and hosting the event will be Kelseyville comedian, Marc Yaffee.

The show is recommended for ages 16 and older and will contain some adult content.

Tickets can be purchased at Umpqua Bank on 11th Street in Lakeport or Pearadise Video on State Street in Kelseyville. The cost is $20 for general admission, $15 for veterans, with active duty, uniformed military personnel admitted free as guests.
