Caltrans plans major roadwork through June 13

NORTH‌‌ ‌‌COAST, ‌‌ ‌‌Calif. — Caltrans‌‌ ‌‌reports‌‌ ‌‌that‌‌ ‌‌the‌‌ ‌‌following‌‌ ‌‌road‌‌ ‌‌projects‌‌ ‌‌will‌‌ ‌‌be‌‌ ‌‌taking‌‌ ‌‌place‌‌ ‌‌‌around‌‌ ‌‌the‌‌ ‌‌North‌‌ ‌‌Coast‌‌ ‌‌during‌‌ ‌‌the‌‌ ‌‌coming‌‌ ‌‌week. ‌‌ ‌‌‌ ‌

Included‌‌ ‌‌are‌‌ ‌‌Mendocino‌‌ ‌‌County‌‌ ‌‌projects‌‌ ‌‌that‌‌ ‌‌may‌‌ ‌‌impact‌‌ ‌‌Lake‌‌ ‌‌County‌‌ ‌‌commuters, as well as work in Del Norte and Humboldt counties.

Caltrans‌‌ ‌‌advises‌‌ ‌‌motorists‌‌ ‌‌to‌‌ ‌‌drive‌‌ ‌‌with‌‌ ‌‌caution‌‌ ‌‌when‌‌ ‌‌approaching‌‌ ‌‌work‌‌ ‌‌areas‌‌ ‌‌and‌‌ ‌‌to‌‌ ‌‌be‌‌ ‌‌‌prepared‌‌ ‌‌to‌‌ ‌‌stop‌‌ ‌‌at‌‌ ‌‌traffic‌‌ ‌‌control‌‌ ‌‌stations. ‌‌ ‌‌‌ ‌

The‌‌ ‌‌Caltrans‌‌ ‌‌Traffic‌‌ ‌‌Operations‌‌ ‌‌Office‌‌ ‌‌has‌‌ ‌‌reviewed‌‌ ‌‌each‌‌ ‌‌project‌‌ ‌‌and‌‌ ‌‌determined‌‌ ‌‌that‌‌ ‌‌individual‌‌ ‌‌‌project‌‌ ‌‌delays‌‌ ‌‌are‌‌ ‌‌expected‌‌ ‌‌to‌‌ ‌‌be‌‌ ‌‌less‌‌ ‌‌than‌‌ ‌‌the‌‌ ‌‌statewide‌‌ ‌‌policy‌‌ ‌‌maximum‌‌ ‌‌of‌‌ ‌‌30‌‌ ‌‌minutes‌‌ ‌‌unless‌‌ ‌‌‌noted‌‌ ‌‌otherwise. ‌‌ ‌‌‌ ‌‌‌ ‌

LAKE COUNTY

Highway 20

Route 20 (1.1/2.4) – Construction work from Blue Lakes Road to Irvine Avenue will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays. LC#P20KA

Route 29 (0/5.8) – Utility work in Middletown from Route 175 to the Napa County Line continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C29LA

MENDOCINO COUNTY

Highway 1

Route 1 (3.2/4.4) – Paving work near Anchor Bay from Pirates Drive to Ocean View Avenue will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P1YA

Route 1 (10.5/11.4) – Paving work in Gallaway near Schooner Gulch Road continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C1YA

Route 1 (18/18.7) – Paving work from the Garcia River Overflow Bridge 10-114 to Stornetta Drive will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C1YA

Route 1 (19.3/20.8) – Tree work in Manchester from Mountain View Road to the Brush Creek Bridge 10-115 will occur on Wednesday, June 12. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P1FA

Route 1 (31.1/31.6) – Road work at the Elk Creek Bridge 10-120 continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C1WA

Route 1 (41.6/42.5) – Road work from south of Navarro Point Preserve to north of Navarro Ridge Road continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C1CA

Route 1 (50.8/52.2) – Road work north of Mendocino at the Jack Peters Creek Bridge 01-43484 from Little Lakes Road to Surfwood Estates Road continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6:00 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C1VA

Route 1 (51.4/51.9) – Bridge work north of Mendocino from Lansing Street to south of Road 500D will begin on Thursday, June 13. One-way traffic control will be in effect and motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#C1VA

Route 1 (65/65.9) – Road work in Cleone will occur at Mill Creek Drive on Monday, June 10. One-way traffic control will be in effect and motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#C1VA

Route 1 (75.4/76.1) – Emergency work south of Westport from the Blues Beach Trailhead to the Overlook will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 30-minute delays. LC#C1TA

Route 1 (78.1/78.4) – Culvert work in Westport at Wages Creek Road will occur on Friday, June 7. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C1CB

Route 1 (82.2/82.9) – Road work south of Hardy from the Portal Rock Vista Point to the Devonte Vista Point continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C1BB

Route 1 (87.8/103.2) – Paving work in Rockport north of Rockport Street to Redwood Forest Foundation Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C1QA

Highway 20

Route 20 (33.9/44.1) – Utility work east of Calpella from Road 144 to the Lake County Line will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C20OA

Highway 101

U.S. 101 (1.6/2) – Road work north of Geysers Road will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C101AC

U.S. 101 (4.3/4.5) – Culvert work north of Comminsky Station Road continues. Lane closures will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C101EE

U.S. 101 (12/13.2) – Tree work in Hopland from Road 112A to the Hopland Fire Station will occur on Monday, June 10. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P101FA

U.S. 101 (30.7/33.8) – Road work north of Ukiah from Route 20 to Uva Drive continues. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C101RB

U.S. 101 (30.8) – Electrical work at the Route 101/20 Separation 10-205 will occur on Sunday, June 9. A full on ramp closure will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 12 p.m. and motorists should use an alternative route. LC#M101GA

U.S. 101 (33.7/43.2) – Guardrail work south of Willits from Route 20 to Uva Drive in Redwood Valley will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#M101QD

U.S. 101 (42/42.6) – Emergency Road work south of Willits continues. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C101ND

U.S. 101 (85/65.6) – Utility work south of Laytonville near the Long Valley Creek Bridge 10-99 will begin on Monday, June 10. Lane closures will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P101GA

U.S. 101 (97.4/97.5) – Utility work at the Bridges Creek Bridge 10-33 will occur on Monday, June 10. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays. LC#P101GA

U.S. 101 (100/106.5) – Road work north of Piercy from the South Fork Eel River Bridge 100-300 to the South Fork Eel River Bridge 10-218 will begin on Friday, June 7. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays. LC#P101BE

Highway 162

Route 162 (.7) – Utility work at the Outlet Creek Bridge 10-233 will begin on Tuesday, June 11. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays. LC#P162AA

Route 162 (7.9/8.4) – Bridge work at the Eel River Bridge 10-236 continues. Lane closures will be in effect and motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#C162HA

Route 162 (11/12.6) – Road work south of Dos Rios near the Rodeo Creek Bridge 10-237 continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 3 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#C162IA

Route 162 (16.6/16.7) – Paving work near Laytonville Dos Rios Road west of Hosea Creek will conclude on Friday, June 7. Lane closures will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#C162BA

Highway 175

Route 175 (.1/9.8) – Paving work in Hopland from U.S. 101 to the Lake County Line will begin on Friday, June 7. One-way traffic will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C175AA

Highway 253

Route 253 (1.7/2.3) – Road work near Boonville at Bald Hills Ranch will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect and motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C253DA

DEL NORTE COUNTY

Highway 101

U.S. 101 (8.3/8.6) – Bridge work near Hunter Creek Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C101KB

U.S. 101 (35.8/36.5) – Construction at the Dr. Fine Bridge near Smith River will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C101WA

Highway 199

U.S. 199 (19.9/31.1) – Emergency work from the Gasquet area to the Collier Tunnel Rest Area will continue. One-way traffic is scheduled weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 30-minute delays. LC#C199HA

HUMBOLDT COUNTY

Highway 36

Route 36 (3.1/4) – Tree work between Johnson Road and Laurel Glen Drive will occur on Monday, June 10. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#P36BA

Route 36 (6.9) – Tree work at Pine Lane will occur on Monday, June 10. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 5-minute delays. LC#P36BA

Route 36 (15.7/16.3) – Slide removal work west of Devils Elbow Picnic Area will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays. LC#C36DA

Route 36 (25.3/25.4) – Bridge work at Little Larabee Creek will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#C36UA

Highway 299

Route 299 (5.4/5.7) – Electrical work near Blue Lake will continue. The westbound offramp for Exit 5 to Blue Lake and the westbound onramp from Glendale Drive will continue to be closed weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. In addition, the eastbound offramp for Exit 5 to Blue Lake and the eastbound onramp from Glendale Drive will both be closed on Wednesday, June 12, from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Travelers should use an alternate route. Route 299 (17.2/19.1) - Permit work from Lord-Ellis Summit to Bair Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should expect 5-minute delays. LC#P299BA

Route 299 (31/33) - Permit work near Cedar Creek Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should expect 5-minute delays. LC#P299BA
