Lake County Sheriff’s Activities League offers summer activities

LAKE COUNTY, Calif. — The Lake County Sheriff’s Activities League has a lineup of fun summer activities for the community’s children.

A second morning of kayaking will be offered on Thursday, June 27. Kayaking takes place at Highland Springs Dam and all equipment is provided. Students may kayak with a leader or in a family pod.

To register, call and speak directly with Mary Borjon at 707-279-1050. Kayakers must be at least 9 years of age and know how to swim.

A morning of archery instruction and practice will take place on Saturday, June 29 at the shooting range on Highland Springs Road near Lakeport.

This youth activity is for students ages 8 to 18 (if still in high school). All equipment is provided. Call and speak directly with Terry Norton at 707-349-4432 to sign up.
